1937 – August 18, 2021

Roy E. Bowling lost his life to cancer on August 18, 2021 at the age of 84. He is survived by his brother Frank Hardy and his Aunt Francina Sell, four children, Rick Glandon, Laurie Kauffman, Tonya McNeill and Mary Viboolsittiseri, six Grandchildren Ashley Glandon, Sara Glandon, Jessi McNeill, Shawn Kauffman, Krystal Calderon, Kyle Viboolsittiseri and five Great Grandchildren, Olivia Calderon, Christian Calderon, Jace Kauffman, Noah Sanchez, Johnny Kauffman and Noah Calderon.

Roy married Kathy Geiszler in 1982 and together they started his biggest business venture, Labor Saving Devices, in the basement of their home, holding many patents on specialty tools for the alarm industry. He loved his work so much that he always claimed he “Never worked a day in his life.” He retired from Labor Saving Devices in October 2017. Roy had many accomplishments, too many to list here, but one of his highest achievements was in the security industry, being inducted into the SSI Hall of Fame in February 2004.

At the age of 80, he was restless and decided to start a new company, Macaloy Products Inc., a combination of natural lotions, soap and gel for the body and household cleaning products that were safe for the environment.

He will be missed by many associates and friends in all the different industries he worked in, as well as with all the personal relationships he encountered along the way and throughout his life. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Olinger Crown Hill Funeral Home Chapel of Peace located at 7777 West 29th Ave Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s research hospital or Veterans of Foreign wars of the United States in memory of Roy E. Bowling.
