Come hang out with your friends and neighbors who share your passion
by Jeannie Reynolds
Quirky Quilters, a group of quilters, knitters, crocheters, and needleworkers from Nederland and Gilpin County invite others, who enjoy the same pursuits, to their monthly show-and-tell gatherings at 10:30 am – noon the first Tuesday of each month. Pre-COVID-19, the group met at the Nederland Public Library and will do so again, when it is safe. For now, the meetings are held virtually on Zoom.
If you’d like to participate in the next gathering, at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 6, contact Jeannie Reynolds at email@example.com. She will send you the Zoom link. It’s as easy as a few clicks on the computer to join the Zoom session.
The group meeting is a laid back time to share your creations, enjoy the work of others, and share information about quilting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and more.
The group worked together to make quilts for the eight families who lost their homes in the Cold Springs fire in 2016, and has made quilts for the Nederland police department to share with those in distress. We welcome all interests in needlework, whether an appreciator or a participant.
