71st Season Grand Opening

The Gilpin County Art Gallery will officially open its Juried Show, Saturday, June 2nd, at 10 am, for its 71st year of continued service. Manager Michele Roussel, Board Members and volunteers have prepared the iconic 1864 Washington Hall Building located at 117 Eureka Street in Central City. Artists from all around Colorado have brought wonderful, unusual and beautiful art of various media. A special fun evening of awards, entertainment, refreshments and fellowship will begin at 5 pm until 8 pm.

Jurors are: Dave Santillanes, Two Dementional; Gayla Lemke, Three Dementional; David Muench, Photography; Karen Roxburgh, Fiber Arts; Ira Sherman, Jewelry; and Bill Thomason, Awards Judge.

The 2018 Board members are: President, Virginia Unseld; Immediate Past President, David Josselyn and Members, Bonnie and Tom Cowherd, Barbara Thielemann, Eric Miller, Carol Mirarck, Dorothy Connors, Rosalind Patterson, Michele Roussel, and Gregg Harkenrider.
