Accepting Grant Applications Until December 15
PRESS RELEASE – The Alan Green Memorial Foundation is now accepting grant applications from non-profit Gilpin County organizations. The non-profit foundation was created by friends and the Green family in memory of Alan Green. Kenneth and Lela Green lost their son Alan in a commercial plane crash. Since l983 the AGMF has given yearly grants to benefit Gilpin County residents.
In previous year the AGMF board has awarded grants during their April meeting. It has been decided to change this action to the January meetings. Therefore, grant applications will be accepted from October to December 15th.
AGMF grant applications are now available and necessary to fill out in place of previous individual letters received by the foundation.
Applications are available at the following locations: Gilpin Library, 15131 Hwy 119; Gilpin Community Center, Norton Drive on Hwy 46; Bobtail Cornerstore, 380 Gregory St., Black Hawk; and Washington Hall (Gilpin History Tour Office), 117 Eureka St., Central City.
